Battle Pass and quests guide — daily, weekly and sect quests, Activity Chests and the 50-level pass

How quests and the Battle Pass work in Tales of Ascension: daily, sect and weekly quests, the Activity Chests, rewards that grow with your realm, where Battle Pass XP comes from, what the free track gives and what the paid tracks add.

Battle Pass and quests guide — daily, weekly and sect quests, Activity Chests and the 50-level pass

Quests are the daily checklist of Tales of Ascension, and the Battle Pass is the long ladder they feed. Most of what you do anyway, such as clearing stages, summoning, running the Secret Realm or fighting in the Arena, counts toward both. This guide covers what resets when, how much a full day is worth, and what the pass gives without paying.

At a glance

Daily quests

The daily list grows as your Sect Master climbs and new systems open. Early on it is mostly campaign stages, boss stages, one summon, blessing your Flying Sword and a world-chat message. Later it adds a Secret Realm run, a Black Market purchase, the Endless Tower, opening Gear Bags and Seal Pouches, an Arena challenge, an Expedition, the guild campfire and Herb Garden seed quests.

Each daily quest you claim adds 20 Activity, so five quests fill the bar. The Activity Chests along the bar pay Spirit Stones, Gold, Merit and summon tickets, with tickets at 60 and 100.

Tip: the daily list is designed to be finished in a normal session. Clear stages and do one of each activity, and the chests fill on their own.

Weekly quests

Weekly quests are the bigger versions: more stages and boss clears, five summons, a star-up, a breakthrough, Black Market purchases, Endless Tower floors, Gear Bags, Expeditions, Arena challenges, guild missions and seed quests. They reset on Monday. The weekly rewards include Heavenly Scripture Fragments, the main source of Sect Master stars (see the stars and Rebirth guide), and the Endless Tower and Arena quests each add a shard for your next major breakthrough.

Sect quests

The Sect tab holds long goals and milestones: building upgrades, total stages cleared, summons, breakthroughs, tower floors, Arena challenges, Secret Realm runs and guild missions. Most of them count up over time rather than resetting, so they pay out as you play.

Rewards grow with your realm

Quest rewards are multiplied by your realm when you claim them: the same quest pays more at Golden Core than at Qi Refining, and more again later. Summon tickets are not scaled, so a ticket reward is always the same number of tickets.

The Battle Pass

The Battle Pass is a 50-level ladder. Every level takes 1,000 XP, and XP comes from things you already do:

XP is granted by the server when the action happens, so there is nothing to farm outside normal play.

Free track

Every level has a reward on the free track: Spirit Stones, Gold, Immortal Herb and 5 summon tickets every 10 levels. You claim them as you reach each level.

Premium and Elite

The Premium track adds Gold on every level, plus Spirit Stones, Seal Pouches, Mount Pills, Beast Pills and Souls for the Soul Pavilion at milestone levels. Level 50 gives a cosmetic avatar frame with no stats. Elite includes Premium plus a one-time item pack. Prices and the rest of the optional purchases are listed in No VIP, no paywall.

Everything on the paid tracks except the frame can also be earned elsewhere in the game.

Guide tasks and Achievements

New players also get guide tasks that walk through each system as it unlocks, with rewards such as the 100 Bone-Forging Pills from the Flying Sword task. Achievements track long-term milestones and pay out once each.

FAQ

What time do quests reset?

Daily quests and Activity Chests reset at midnight game time. Weekly quests reset every Monday at midnight.

Can I lose quest progress?

Unclaimed daily quests are cleared at the reset, so claim before midnight. Claim All does it in one tap.

Is the Battle Pass worth it for free players?

Yes. The free track pays summon tickets and resources at every level, and it fills from quests you would do anyway.
